HEX Tallinn promotes environment-friendly approach
HEX Tallinn launched a campaign to urge those who joined the funded pensioni system to terminate the subscription of annual statement of holdings by regular mail. There were about 300,000 people who wished to receive the statement on paper. For the production of this amount of paper, about 20 trees are used.
Some 5,200 people responded to the campaign during the first month and ordered their statement electronically instead.
Out of every person who stops receiving the annual statement by regular mail, HEX Tallinn will give 3 EEK to Estonian Nature Fund to sponsor nature education projects.
